Usage Agreement for the Use of Wi-Fi Internet Access

Permission to Use Wi-Fi Internet Access

The landlord maintains Wi-Fi internet access. He/she grants the tenant shared use of the Wi-Fi internet access for the duration of their stay in the holiday property. This shared use is a free service and can be revoked by the landlord at any time. The landlord assumes no liability for the availability, suitability, or reliability of the internet access for any purpose. The landlord is entitled to restrict the operation of the Wi-Fi in whole, in part, or temporarily at any time. The tenant has been informed that multiple guests may use this internet access, which may further reduce the already low internet speed. The landlord reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to block access to certain websites or services via the Wi-Fi (e.g., websites glorifying violence, pornography, or sites requiring payment).

Access Data

Use is by entering a username and password. The access data is for the tenant's personal use only and may not be disclosed to third parties under any circumstances. The tenant undertakes to keep their access data confidential. The landlord has the right to change the access code at any time.

Risks of Wi-Fi Use, Limitation of Liability

The tenant is advised that the Wi-Fi only provides access to the internet (email and surfing). Virus protection and/or firewalls are not available. Data traffic generated using the Wi-Fi is unencrypted. The data can therefore be viewed by third parties. The landlord expressly points out that there is a risk that malware (e.g., viruses, Trojans, worms, etc.) may be transmitted to the tenant's device when using the Wi-Fi. Use of the Wi-Fi is at the tenant's own risk. The landlord assumes no liability for damage to the tenant's digital media (e.g., PC, smartphone, tablet).

Responsibility and Indemnity

The tenant is solely responsible for the data transmitted via Wi-Fi, the paid services used via Wi-Fi, and the legal transactions conducted. The tenant agrees to bear the costs of visiting fee-based websites and other liabilities. By clicking on "Accept," the tenant agrees to comply with this User Agreement and applicable law. In particular, the tenant will:

• Do not use the Wi-Fi to access or distribute immoral or illegal content;
• Do not illegally copy, distribute, or make available copyrighted material;
• This applies particularly in connection with the use of file-sharing programs;
• Observe applicable child and youth protection regulations;
• Do not send or distribute harassing, defamatory, or threatening content;
• Do not use the Wi-Fi to send mail

The tenant indemnifies the landlord of the holiday property against all claims and damages from third parties arising from the tenant's unlawful use of the Wi-Fi and/or a violation of this User Agreement. This also extends to costs and expenses associated with the claim or defense against such claims. If the tenant recognizes or should recognize that such a violation of law and/or violation exists or is imminent, they must notify the landlord of this fact. The tenant is solely responsible for the device they use. They cannot release themselves from the above-mentioned responsibility and liability by claiming that a third party used their device.

Data Protection

The tenant has been informed that data about his or her internet usage behavior will be collected and stored and communicated to the landlord daily via email. This information will also include the user's MAC address.

Cancellation Policy

Up to 14 days before arrival, guests can cancel free of charge. The guest pays an amount equal to the total price in case of cancellation in the 14 days before arrival.
